The ground transportation of dangerous goods is regulated by the Department of Transportation and more specifically PHMSA. The DOT regulates shipping hazardous materials in the 49 CFR, Parts 100-185. The 49 CFR is available in various formats including the Early 49 CFR, DOT Government 49 CFR, and GSI CFR 49.
