Grade 4-A Extra-Coarse Vermiculite is a natural asbestos-free absorbent that is ideal for liquid spill cleanups and packaging that could leak. Vermiculite absorbs liquid spills of all kinds and is chemically inert. Vermiculite is an excellent loose absorbent and cushioning material to use in UN-certified packaging, DOT-approved packaging, UN wooden boxes and overpack salvage drums. Naturally occurring, Vermiculite is a mineral and environmentally friendly.
Grade 4-A Extra-Coarse Vermiculite is the largest grain size available and provides the best cushioning properties. Grade 4-A vermiculite is used in all Labelmaster UN 4GV packaging boxes. Extra-Coarse vermiculite comes in a 1.75-cubic feet box, 4-cubic feet bag and 60-cubic feet bulk bag. Labelmaster conducts tests and provides certification that all Vermiculite grades are free from asbestos or asbestos form fibers.
